QA Engineer


Key qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on testing native mobile applications (iOS & Android)
  • Hands-on experience with functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing for mobile apps
  • Solid programming skills in Java or Kotlin for developing automated tests
  • Practical experience with Appium (designing, writing, and maintaining mobile UI test automation)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into build processes
  • Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think from both customer and system perspectives

Responsibilities and scope

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for mobile applications
  • Build and maintain mobile automation test frameworks using Appium with Java/Kotlin
  • Ensure high-quality releases by participating in test planning, bug triage, and release validation
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to refine requirements and improve testability
  • Track and report on test coverage, defects, and overall product quality metrics
