Tech Lead / Engineering Manager


Position overview

We’re looking for a Tech Lead / Engineering Manager to work directly with the CTO and drive the technical vision, architecture, and scalability of our platform.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set the technical direction, design system architecture, and guide a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the technical architecture for our platform
  • Lead design reviews, architecture boards, and strategic technical planning with the CTO
  • Work with the Project Manager to plan sprints and translate product requirements into technical tasks
  • Provide hands-on guidance and code reviews to backend and mobile teams
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, patterns, and best practices
  • Identify risks and propose solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability challenges
  • Mentor engineers and help grow the team’s technical expertise

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Senior Backend Lead
  • Expert-level knowledge of .NET / C# and modern backend architecture
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture and system design (microservices, distributed systems, API design, integration patterns)
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with mobile development lifecycle (iOS/Android) and integration with backend services
  • Familiarity with web development and integration with backend services
  • Excellent architectural thinking, systems design, and decision-making skills
  • Fluent English and strong communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience building platforms from scratch or scaling from MVP to enterprise level
  • Experience implementing scalable event-driven systems
  • Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization
