What is a zip on a debit card?
Zip is the same as a postcode. It is a group of numbers and letters that refers to your address. A bank usually asks for your postcode for sending mail when a card is registered. While your original postcode consists of both letters and numbers, a ZIP code on a debit card includes numbers only. For instance, if a postcode is AB 12345, a ZIP code for a debit card will be 12345. You might not be sure which ZIP code one of your debit cards has since it is not put on a card itself. How to dispute debit card charges?
A few actions need to take place for this to happen. The first action would be to call your bank and explain what happened to them. The faster you will see a mistake in your balance and call them, the better your chances that this dispute would be considered. The second action after the call is the hardest you need to wait for the bank's final decision. The length of this period depends on the merchant of the transaction and on the rules of the bank for such situations. Some banks can consider your case just ten working days; others can do it for 60 days.
