What kind of transfer B9 doesn't accept?
Wire Transfers: We do not accept wire transfers. If you attempt a wire transfer, the transaction will be rejected. We are not liable for wire transfers that you initiate to your B9 Account or deposits of any kind that you mail to us, including if it is lost in transit, lost in the mail, or otherwise not received by us.

Cash: We do not accept cash deposits. If you mail us a cash deposit, we will return the cash to you.

Paper Checks: If you mail a paper check to us, including personal checks, money orders or cashier’s checks, we may apply the check to any negative balance you may have on your B9 Spending Account or return the check to you.

Foreign Currency: We do not accept any deposits in foreign currency. Any deposits received in foreign currency, whether in the form of cash or check, will be returned to you.
ATMs
Currently, B9 does not offer any free ATMs for the B9 card. Any ATM that allows VISA cards to withdraw are accepted by the B9 card.

The B9 card currently does not work with contactless ATMs. You are able to withdraw from ATMs with the B9 card, but unable to deposit into ATMs.

The fees for ATMs are $2.50 plus fees from the owner of the ATM.

Creating a B9 account
Everything is very simple. It only takes 5 minutes to apply for a B9 account!

Step 1. Download the B9 App

Download in App Store
Download in Google Play

Step 2. Go through Onboarding steps

Please have the following information available:

Valid US phone number
Your Email
Your Full name and Date of birth
Your Full US address
Your SSN or ITIN number
Your US government issued photo ID

Step 3. Once you complete the onboarding process your bank account will be ready instantly!
How quickly can I start using my B9 account?
Your account and B9 virtual card are available in B9 app as soon as you complete the application and your account is verified.

You may also order a physical debit card(s) and it will be shipped via mail to your address within 5-10 business days.
How do I change my email address?
Got a new email address? With B9, it is easy to change. Just follow the steps below to change your email address:

Log in -> Profile Tab -> Personal Info -> Click on email -> Type in new email address and send confirmation to new address -> Click on email sent to new email address -> Click on verification button in email to change your email address
Transfer money from my B9 account
In the B9 app, you can transfer funds domestically. In the Wallet tab click Send Money and choose one of the options:

Send money instantly to external card (only US debit cards are accepted)
Instant transfer between existing B9 users
Domestic transfer via ACH (1-3 days)
These are the possible reasons why the transfer was failed:

Receiving card doesn't have PUSH feature
Exceeded the limits for transactions
Transaction Dispute
We strongly recommend that you reach out to the merchant you are wanting to dispute the transaction from in order to discuss the details of the transaction. This may be a much quicker process to resolve your concern, as they may be able to refund you the purchase and save you time.

If you are looking to continue with the dispute process, please note that only transactions that are posted to your account can be disputed. Pending charges may be temporary or can change before they post.

We strongly recommend you reaching out to the merchant for immediate questions about any charges you may have with them. You also have the ability to lock your card to prevent further transactions from occurring by going to the Cards Tab of the app, clicking on the top right corner, and selecting Lock Card.

Reset a PIN
PIN is set during card activation.

To reset the PIN, customer must go to the cards tab -> click on the 3 dots in the top right corner -> select reset PIN.
How can I close my account?
If you wish to close your account, please make sure to remove your direct deposit away from coming to B9 to avoid any future issues by following these steps:

Open the B9 app -> Go to the profile tab -> Tap on manage your direct deposit -> Select online deposit switch -> Tap on continue -> Tap at the button on the top right corner next to "your connections" -> Select: revoke access.

You can move your deposit away from the "Manage your direct deposit" and also by going directly to your employer to update your paycheck allocation with them. We suggest confirming with your employer as well.
How can I change my name on my B9 account?
Name change? No problem! All you need to do is reach out to our support team with the following:

Type out your new name that you need to update your account to
A selfie with you holding the ID that has your new name as proof of name change
Once you have that, feel free to contact our support team and we will change right away!
